53. Hizdahr zo Loraq

Hizdahr was the son of one of the Great Masters whom Daenerys crucified. Daenerys, impressed with Hizdhar, sent him to Yunkai as an ambassador. When he returned, he encouraged her to reopen the fighting pits to get Yunkai to follow her orders.

Time of death: Season 5, episode 9, "The Dance of Dragons"

Cause of death: Stabbed by the Sons of the Harpy.

Sadness ranking: 3. Although he always seemed suspicious, he was genuinely trying to help Daenerys make a smoother transition in abolishing slavery in the cities along Slaver's Bay.
