England got off to a hot start in its World Cup semifinal match against Croatia on Wednesday.
After winning a few yards outside the box just five minutes into the match, Kieran Trippier sent home a beautiful free kick to give England an early 1-0 lead as the Three Lions fight for the chance to play France in the final.
Across England, fans erupted with joy, and in doing so, sent gallons upon gallons (err, litres upon litres) of beer into the air in celebration.
Because the goal came so early in the match, it's likely that the beers flung into the skies were a bit more full than fans initially anticipated when they imagined their celebration. Clouds of fermented mist were instantly created across the country.
Should England hold on for the victory, the Three Lions will take on France in the World Cup final on Sunday, where more beer will undoubtedly be sent to the heavens with every goal scored.
