UPSC releases admit cards for Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2020

  • This year, the UPSC prelims were postponed by five months due to COVID-19. The exams are now scheduled for October 4.
The Union Public Service Commission has released the Civil Services Admit Cards for preliminary examination 2020 on September 1. UPSC aspirants will be able to download their admit card from upsc.gov.in.

Here’s how to download UPSC Admit Card 2020
  1. Go to upsc.gov.in
  2. Select the link “e-Admit Card Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2020.
  3. Select “Click here”
  4. Select the option to access your admit card by clicking either on “Registration ID” or “Roll Number”
  5. Download the admit card.
  6. You can also take a printout for future reference. It is mandatory for candidates to bring printed admit cards along with important instructions to enter the examination hall.
  7. In case you face any difficulty in downloading the admit card, you can write an email to web-upsc@nic.in.

This year, the UPSC prelims were postponed by five months due to COVID-19. The exams are now scheduled for October 4. All the candidates who qualify UPSC preliminary examination will be shortlisted for the main examination to be held in January next year.

Moreover, UPSC has also announced the dates for 2021 preliminary examinations. It will be held on June 21 whereas the main examinations for 2021 will be held in September.
