Financial Times named the top 100 business schools globally for management courses. Seven Indian schools made it to the top 100.

The rankings have been given according to the weighted salary and primary campus location. Weighted salary is the average alumni salary three years after graduation, in US dollars PPP (purchasing power parity) equivalent, with adjustment for variations between sectors.

Rank: 31 | Weighted salary: $144,178 | The school has a track record of 100 percent placement and is known for its flagship programme. IIM Bangalore is the only Indian institution which is a member of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM).

Rank: 44 | Weighted salary: $121,164 | Founded in 1981, the management school is known for its excellent academics and resource facilities. Anant Bajaj, MD at Bajaj Electricals, Deepak Iyer, president at Mondelez International are some of the popular alumnis of the school.

Rank: 64 | Weighted salary: $125,279 | The fourth IIM in India by the government is known for its eco-friendly campus. It offers various courses in postgraduate, PHD and is popular for its MBA programme.

Rank: 81 | Weighted salary: $87,041 | IIMU is said to be one of the most prominent schools for MBA in the country. It has been ranked among the top five schools for business in India by NIRF.

Rank: 89 | Weighted salary: $98,272 | It is the second IIM to receive triple accreditations. It shifted its Ras al-Khaimah operations to Dubai in 2013, however, it shut down in the very next year.

Rank: 96 | Weighted salary: $92,800 | The private deemed university has campuses in several cities like Hyderabad and Indore. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines like management, engineering, commerce, pharmacy, architecture and economics.

Rank: 97 | Weighted salary: $71,792 | It is one of the first corporate sponsored business schools in India. It was ranked at 26th position by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
