The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is unlikely to declare the class 10th board results today on June 10. According to media reports, state education minister Varsha Gaikwad signalled a delay in the declaration of the result.

The examination was conducted around March. The state board examination for class 10th was held between March 3 to March 23 while the class 12th exams took place from February 18 to March 17, 2020.

However, due to the coronavirus lockdown, the evaluation process was delayed. It is speculated that now the results will be announced in july for both class 10th and 12th students. This may also be because of the sudden surge in the number of infections in Maharashtra. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID cases in the state stood at 88,528, as on June 10.

Once declared, the students can check their scores on the board’s official website maharesults.nic.in.
