This year, the KSEEB result announcement has been delayed due to the precautionary measures imposed in the state on the back of COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, the Karnataka SSLC results were announced on April 30 by the KSEEB.

The SSLC examinations in Karnataka concluded on July 3 with an overall average of about 98% attendance amidst the coronavirus scare.

Of the 8.5 lakh odd students who enrolled for the SSLC exams, an average of about 98% took the exams that began on June 25. This came after the government stuck to its decision to go ahead with them, despite rising coronavirus cases. However, the government laid down a string of safety measures, including face masks, and maintaining social distancing by seating only one student on a bench.
