Himachal Pradesh Board HPBOSE class 12th result declared - pass percentage improves to 76.07%

Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) declared class 12th board results today on June 18 at 11:30 am. The overall pass percentage for this year stood at 76.07%. In 2019, 62.01% students passed the examination.

“This year, the number of male students supersede that of female students, 43,410 male in comparison to 42,898 female students. A total of 325 students did not appear in the exam,” board chairman Suresh Soni told the Indian Express.

The result is released on the basis of scores in four subjects for which the exams were conducted in March. While the fifth subject, which is an elective subject will be awarded the marks equivalent to the highest marks scored in the other four exams, according to reports.

Students can check their score via SMS by typing HP12<space><ROLL NUMBER> and sending it to 56263. The students can check their result on the official website hpbose.org.

This comes after the state board said that it will not conduct the pending board examinations for class 12th. The HPBOSE class 12th examinations were held in March 2020. Given the coronavirus lockdown, the evaluation process was delayed.
