GSEB SSC class 10th result 2020: Girls outperform boys with 66.02%

Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) just declared the class 10th board results today, around 8 am.

Girls outperformed boys, again. This year, the number of boys that passed the examination stood at 56.53% while the pass percentage among girls stood at 66.02% . Last year, the overall pass percentage among boys stood at 62.83%, less than the pass percentage among girls that was recorded as 72.64%.

The overall pass percentage for this year stood at 60.6%. That is a drop of nearly 6.3% from last year. In 2019, the overall pass percentage was recorded as 60.23% with 551,023 students passing the exam.

Students can check their result on the official website gseb.org. The GSEB SSC examinations were held between March 5 and March 17, 2020 — and over 11 lakh students appeared for the exam across 1,548 centres.
