Chirag Falor tops JEE Advanced 2020 — check the list of top ten rank holders this year

Indian Institute of Delhi has announced JEE Advanced results today. Chirag Falor, from IIT Bombay Zone, topped JEE Advanced 2020 scoring 352 out of 396. Falor has already started his undergrad program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2019, Falor represented India in the International Olympiad Award on Astronomy and Astrophysics held at Keszthely, Hungary.

Kanishka Mittal from IIT Roorkee zone scored highest among girls with an All India Rank (AIR) 17.

JEE is an entrance exam held in India to get admission to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

This year, over a lakh students appeared for the examination. A total of 43,204 candidates have qualified the examination — of which 6,707 are girls.

All the JEE (Advanced) 2020 candidates who pass the examination must register with Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 to fill their choice of courses in IITs or NITs.

Despite massive protests, JEE Advanced was held on September 27 across thousand exam centres in 222 cities.
