The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the new dates for the final exams of Class 10 and Class 12 students on December 31. However, within minutes of the announcement, CBSE’s main website was inaccessible — presumably due to a surge in people logging in to check the fresh date sheet.
Many took to Twitter to express their outrage over the mismanagement. Others also pointed out that this is a regular occurrence for CBSE on result days and date announcement days.
Some even forecast that the website will crash before the Union Education Minister started the press briefing to announce the dates.
For those unable to log on, Class 10 and 12 final boards will be held from May 4 to June 10 in 2021. The practical portion of the final exam for board students will begin from March 1 and the final result will be announced by July 15.
