AHSEC class 12th result 2020: Assam board to declare the result today at 9 am, check scores @ahsec.nic.in

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is likely to declare the results of class 12th board examination today, on June 25 at 9 am, said the board chairman Dayananda Borgohain. The state board will declare results for all streams including Science, Arts, Vocational and Commerce.

The appeared students can check their scores on the board’s official website ahsec.nic.in. Alternatively, the result can also be viewed at resultassam.nic.in.

Nearly 2.34 lakh students appeared for the exam this year. The exams were held from February 12 to March 14, 2020.

Here’s how to check AHSEC class 12th result:

  • Visit the official website ahsec.nic.in
  • Click on the result link.
  • Login with your credentials like roll number.
  • Download the result for future reference.
The result can also be checked via SMS by typing ASSAM12ROLLNUMBER — and sending it to 56263.

According to Pankaj Borthakur, controller of examinations, AHSEC, the original marksheet and certificates will be awarded to students within a week of the declaration of results.

"While results will be sent to all the AHSEC-affiliated institutions in digital format through online mode on June 25, the original marksheets and certificates will be made available in the respective educational institutions within a week from the declaration of the results. AHSEC is among the three-four education boards in the country which is going to make the original marksheets and certificates available for the students soon after the declaration of the results under this Covid situation," Borthakur told the Times of India.

Last year, the 12th board results were declared on May 25.
