Admissions to Manipal University for the 2020 academic session are now open. The university offers 300+ courses in 20+ disciplines, like engineering, pharmacy, culinary arts, animation, media and communication, architecture, computer applications, biotechnology, fashion design, interior design, commerce, nursing, and humanities.

It has one of the most diverse student bodies in the country with over 33,000 students coming from almost 67 countries. Promising students are also offered 100% scholarships. It is ranked the 4th best private institute for engineering in the country. Engineering aspirants can choose from 16 streams, including mechatronics and aeronautics. There is also a tech-business incubator to encourage entrepreneurship.


For courses like BBA, the university follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with open electives, and there are optional international study tours. The university also takes an active interest in promoting research, with humanities courses offered both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.


Media and Communication students can avail of the advanced infrastructure, holistic curriculum and the full-fledged studio for practical exposure. Manipal also claims that 100% of the students in the Fashion Design course were placed for internships with leading companies. It has a highly-qualified and experienced faculty throughout all departments.
