  • Fans took to the streets of Philadelphia to celebrate after the Eagles NFC Championship win over the Minnesota Vikings.
  • As they marched down Broad Street towards City Hall, fans chanted, danced, and climbed greased poles in honor of their football team.
  • In the Eagles' locker room, the mood was comparably joyous among players.

The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl-bound after defeating the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship on Sunday 38-7, and Philadelphia fans could not be more excited about it.

It's the team's first trip to the Super Bowl since 2004, where they would lose to the Patriots 24-21 just as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick's reign of dominance was turning into the dynasty we now know it to be. In two weeks, the Eagles will have their shot at revenge, but until then, fans in the City of Brotherly Love were left to celebrate their trip to Minneapolis.

Sunday had already been a busy day for Eagles fans. Fans showed up early to tailgate, and in the morning, city officials had dispatched a fleet of "Crisco Cops" with the mission of greasing up light poles to make them too slippery for fans to climb after the game.

But a little grease couldn't stop Eagles fans from making the climb. After the Eagles won, fans took to the streets and partied in true Philadelphia fashion.

Fans crowded onto Broad Street and marched towards City Hall, chanting, dancing, and singing the Eagles fight song all the way there.

In the streets, fans mimicked the the Vikings "SKOL" chants, clapping while screaming "FOLES" instead, in honor of their quarterback who played flawlessly on their way to victory. The chants were, admittedly, less organized than their Minnesotan counterparts.

Elsewhere in the city, more chaos was taking place. One fan driving what appeared to be a dune buggy went off-roading and drove up the infamous art museum steps from "Rocky" to celebrate the big win.

While in other corners of the city, the party was much more avant garde.

But the fans weren't the only ones celebrating the big win - in the Eagles locker room, the mood was equally joyous.

The Eagles are now just one win away from their first Super Bowl title in franchise history. If they can pull off one more underdog miracle and take down Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the Patriots, the city of Philadelphia is going to need a lot more Crisco.
