To ring in the season, Business Insider has an exclusive peek of Dunkin' Donuts' 2015 holiday menu. This year, the chain is debuting two new, untraditional donuts, the Caramel Cheesecake Square and the Snickerdoodle Filled Croissant Donut.

"With the new premium holiday donuts, the familiar favorite seasonal flavors of Caramel and Snickerdoodle evoke feelings of warmth, comfort and nostalgia that people associate with this special season," Chris Fuqua, Dunkin' Donuts' vice president of brand marketing, told Business Insider. "Coupling these flavors with a twist on a traditional donut - either the Croissant Donut or Cheesecake Square - allows guests to try a creative new treat."

Dunkin' released its first Croissant Donut in November 2014 as a limited time offering, and made the treat a permanent menu item in February. The holiday variety is a Croissant Donut stuffed with cookie dough filling, with white icing drizzle and coffee cake streusel topping.

While this is Dunkin's first variation on the Croissant Donut, Fuqua says that the culinary team will continue to consider new twists.

At Dunkin' Donuts, the holidays also mean bringing back cookie-flavored drinks. This year, coffee and lattes will be available in three flavors: Sugar Cookie, Snickerdoodle, and Peppermint Mocha.

"We know our guests are looking for the familiar flavors they enjoy each holiday season, but also for the chance to try something new and different," says Fuqua. "Like our guests, we look forward to the holiday season all year long. We've really established ourselves as a place that people really depend on when they're on-the-go and looking for food and beverages to keep running during the most hectic and busy time of the year."
