Buying a bottle of water at a mall or high end cafe is different. No we aren’t talking about the experience but the price. Often the same bottle of water that costs Rs 20 outside costs Rs 50 or even more inside. Consumer affairs ministry told The Times of India that states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have issued challans against erring companies. While Maharashtra went a step ahead by suing the erring companies in consumer courts.
