Donald Trump shares another bizarre Jeb Bush image - this time from a 'White Genocide' account
But in a strange twist, Trump's latest attack came from an account called "@WhiteGenocideTM," which had a Hitler reference on its cover image. The account's tweets and retweets included a stream of racist, anti-Semitic, and otherwise prejudiced posts.
The image Trump shared depicted Bush as a homeless person standing in front of Trump Tower. It featured Bush holding a cardboard sign urging people to vote for Trump.
"Poor Jeb," the message said. "I could've sworn I saw him outside Trump Tower the other day!"
Reached for comment, Bush spokeswoman Allie Brandenburger gave a one-word response.
"Classy," she told Business Insider.
Trump has previously shared several other unusual images of Bush. At the end of December, Trump retweeted a supporter who had altered an image to depict Bush picking his nose. Earlier this month, Trump shared an image of Bush supposedly at a sad, lonely birthday party.
In November, Trump shared an anti-Bush Twitter image that contained a Nazi swastika. Trump deleted that tweet. His spokeswoman told Business Insider at the time that Trump had not seen the accompanying image when sharing the post. Trump blamed a "young intern" for another bizarre tweet in October that went after Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson.
Another Trump tweet this week further depicted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Trump's top primary rival, as a balding Canadian banker.
