Didi Kuaidi, Ola’s investor and Uber’s Chinese rival, is close to raising $2 billion in the next funding, the Chinese transportation network company headquartered in Beijing, will soon raise $2 billion investment at a valuation of $25 billion, say reports from Bloomberg. The ongoing funding round will be closed in the coming few weeks.

Didi Kuaidi, which has invested in India's largest taxi aggregator Ola, is a Chinese rival of Ola’s biggest Indian competitor Uber.

Didi Kuaidi, Ola, Lyft and GrabTaxi collectively form a global alliance and share customers across continents. It means that in future, an Ola customer would be able to hail taxis in China, South-East Asia, or the United States using the same app installed in his smartphone.

Didi Kuaidi finds its investors in Japanese internet corporation SoftBank, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba and the Chinese Internet conglomerate Tencent.
