The Election Commission strongly reacted after the Indian government announced use of indelible ink so that people do not withdraw from multiple banks.

The election body has written to the finance ministry raising objections as several states will be going for polls.

Meanwhile, woes of the common man increased after the government reduced the limit of exchange of notes from Rs 4500 to Rs 2,000.

Many opposition parties such as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Trinamool Congress have united against demonetisation.
