The Delhi University isn’t going to commence the admission process for undergraduate courses before 20 May as the standing committee is yet to make policy decisions. The Delhi University is going to offer 56,000 seats for UG courses and 9,500 seats for PG courses under non-EWS quota.

According to the media reports, the admission process will probably last till 30 May 2019 and the first cut off list will be announced on 14 June 2019.

The proposals awaiting decision include special deprivation points to students from government school or rural background, increase in ward quotas for teaching and non-teaching staff and taking Hindi into consideration for exams along with English.

Last year, the admission process began on May 20, 2018.

Here’s how to fill DU Application Form 2019.

Step 1 - Registration

  1. Visit the official website of Delhi University
  2. To get admission in a UG Programme, select “UG Admission” section.
  3. Click on “New Applicant Signup” to create a new user and fill the required details.
  4. Click on ‘Register’ to complete the process.
Step 2: Application Form

  1. Log in using the username and password.
  2. Enter the required details.
  3. Select the Course/ECA and Sports category selection.
  4. You can choose between merit-based or entrance based UG courses.
  5. Upload the following Documents - Self-attested class 10th and class 12th mark sheet, Self-attested copy of category certificate, Scanned images of signature and passport size photograph, ECA and Sports certificates
Step 3- Payment

Use the online fee payment to pay the fee either by credit card, debit card or net banking.
