In its final leg of test runs, Talgo train that started from Delhi at 2:45 in the afternoon reached Mumbai at 3:15 in the morning, thus covering 1,384 distance in little more than 12 hours.
Nine super light-weight coaches manufactured by Spanish firm Talgo, which can hit 200 km per hour, were imported to Mumbai in April.
Although the Talgo train reached Mumbai yesterday 18 minutes late in its third trial. The train was scheduled to reach its destination by 2:57AM.
