Russia, the largest holder of nuclear missiles, has 5,977 warheads, down from 6,255 warheads in 2021.

The nuclear weapons inventory of the United States has declined from 5,550 warheads in 2021 to 5,428 warheads in 2022.

China currently holds 350 nuclear warheads and is reportedly constructing 300 new silos.
