5 Missiles That The Indian Armed Forces are Proud Of

Agni in Hindi means fire. An apt name for an apt and deadly missile. Third in the Agni series of Indian rockets, this one has a fly and kill range of 3,500 – 5,000 km.

Shaurya in the Sanskrit language means Valour. This rocket can fly to targets upto 700 km in range and take them out without breaking a sweat.

A short range water to surface missile that can blow anything up between the range of 350-600 km. The missile can carry a 1,000 Kg warhead and can destroy targets with extreme accuracy.

This one is a surface to surface stealth missile with a range of 300 km. It was first tested in June 2001 and ever since has been a proud part of the Indian armed forces.
