The DC Universe streaming platform is getting ready for its next wave of content.

"Titans" season two premieres in less than a month on September 6, and "Doom Patrol" and "Young Justice: Outsiders" have also been renewed. Despite DC's parent company, WarnerMedia, launching its own streaming service called HBO Max next year - which will include DC Universe content - the niche superhero service is set to deliver more programming.

The health of DC Universe was questioned earlier this year when it abruptly canceled its original horror series, "Swamp Thing," in June after airing just one episode. People involved in the production of the series told Business Insider they were shocked by the cancellation, and speculation swirled about WarnerMedia's plans for the service.

But there are no plans at the moment to fold DC Universe into HBO Max, and the two services are expected to coexist, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told Business Insider last month.

DC Universe's shows have experienced positive reaction from critics and fans. Even "Swamp Thing" received a stellar 94% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. DC Universe's series regularly appear in Parrot Analytics' weekly list of the most in-demand original streaming shows in the world. Nearly a year after its debut, "Titans" hasn't left the list.

We've rounded up everything that DC Universe has confirmed is in the works below:

"Titans" season two

DC Universe dropped the first trailer for "Titans" season two last week, and it features the return of familiar characters like Dick Grayson/Robin (played by Brenton Thwaites) and Raven (Rachel Roth). But it also briefly introduces viewers to new characters like Superboy (Joshua Orpin) and Bruce Wayne ("Game of Thrones" alum Iain Glen).

The first season of "Titans" was met with mostly positive reactions from critics and has an 80% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. It was DC Universe's first original series, debuting in October 2018 after the service launched in September.

Season two premieres September 6.

"Harley Quinn" season one

"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco is voicing Harley Quinn in this adult animated series. A release date has yet to be announced, but it's expected to premiere this year. DC unveiled first footage from the series at last year's New York Comic-Con.

DC Universe's description of the series is below:

"Harley Quinn has finally broken things off once and for all with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal Queenpin of Gotham City in this half-hour adult animated action-comedy series. The series features Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and a whole cast of heroes and villains, old and new, from the DC Universe."

"Stargirl" season one

"Stargirl" is expected to debut on DC Universe in 2020. Brec Bassinger portrays the title character.

DC Universe's description of the series is below:

"STARGIRL follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. The project focuses on the character that started executive producer Geoff Johns' career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister, who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion."

"Doom Patrol" season two

DC Universe announced that it renewed "Doom Patrol" for a second season at San Diego Comic-Con in July. The series is DC Universe's best-reviewed show yet, with a 95% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The second season is expected to arrive in 2020, and the first season will be available to stream on both DC Universe and HBO Max.
