Based out of Mumbai, Datamatics is a global IT solutions company that offers many services, including robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

Last year, it sealed a contract worth ₹160 crore for implementing automatic fare collection for 52 of the Mumbai Metro rail project’s stations. It’s also working with the Bangalore International Airport to automate more than 170 processes across its departments.

Founded in 1975 by Lalit S Kanodia, the company was originally called Interface Software Resources. The name was later changed to Datamatics in 1992. It offers services across India, Australia, the UK, the US, Philippines and the UAE.

ITC Infotech is ITC’s wholly owned information technology subsidiary, which was established in 2000. ITC was originally known as the India Tobacco Company but chose to change that image as it diversified into other businesses.

ITC Infotech made headlines last year for undergoing a digital transformation of its own — equipping every employee with a bot. Launched in September, the initiative would help the company’s 8,500 employees to perform tasks as per their profile. According to the company, each bot will act as “a buddy”.

Providing services mainly to the airline and hospitality sector, ITC Infotech has an estimated annual revenue of $244 million. The Bengaluru-based company’s CEO is Sudip Singh.

Access Healthcare is a company based out of Tamil Nadu. It works with hospitals, healthcare systems, and dental service providers to manage their revenue cycle. This includes medical billing, coding and after-care follow up services.

Founded by former-Dell executive Shaji Ravi in 2011, the company was later acquired by its current chairman, Anurag Jain.

The company claims to have over 70 customers supporting over 300,000 physicians around the world. From 2018, it has grown from 8,000 to 12,000 employees and increased its delivery capabilities from 12 delivery centres to 19.
