This is the Rover 2.0 App-Controlled Wireless Spy Tank from Brookstone.

Why We Love It: Remember all those movies where characters attach a camera to a remote-controlled car? That's the idea behind the Rover, except that you can control it with your iPad, iPhone, or Android smartphone. It has a wide-angle camera with the ability to stream and record both live video and stills with a range of 200 feet unobstructed, and 100 feet around walls and into other rooms.

You can upload the videos to Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter from the app, and it even has night vision technology. The Rover uses 6 AA batteries that are included in the package.

Where To Buy: Available through the Brookstone website.

Cost: $149.99.
