Consumer Credit Increases By $17.5 Billion

Consumer credit balances increased by $17.5 billion in March, which was a bigger increase than the $15.5 billion expected by economists.

However, February's gain was revised down to $12.9 billion from an earlier estimate of $16.4 billion.
