Come see Henry Blodget break down VR, AR, and AI at the Tribeca Film Festival
The Tribeca Film Festival has been the premier curator of cutting-edge interactive storytelling for more than a decade. On April 24, Business Insider's founder Henry Blodget will be at Tribeca to discuss the State of the Art: How AR, VR, and AI are Transforming Media with Jaunt VR's CEO George Kliavkoff, Michael Ludden of IBM's Watson Developer Labs; AR/VR Labs.
Kliavkoff and Ludden have spent their careers working on emerging tech platforms at companies including Google, NBCUniversal, Hulu, Samsung, HTC, and Hearst. They have great insight into where these technologies are headed, as well as the industries they'll transform.
This breakfast conversation will be followed by a VIP tour of Tribeca's Virtual Arcade, featuring 21 world premier virtual-reality and augmented-reality exhibits, as well as five Storyscapes experiences in competition. Tribeca's Virtual Arcade includes 33 innovative VR exhibitions and experiences from top creators such as Jeremy Bailenson, Chris Milk, Eliza McNitt, Eugene YK Chung, Gabo Arora, Saschka Unseld, and emerging artists: Asad J. Malik, Gabriela Arp, and Lucas Rizzotto.
Established directors, actors, and musicians with projects this year include directors Terrence Malick (Together), Laurie Anderson (Chalkroom); actors Rosario Dawson (BattleScar), Lupita Nyong'o (My Africa), Alicia Vikander (Arden's Wake: Tide's Fall); and GRAMMY® award-winning band OK Go (Untitled OK Go & WITHIN Project).
