No reason was given for the lockdown and Reuters could not immediately reach a Colorado Springs police spokeswoman.

KKTV reports that Colorado Springs Police searched two hospitals on Monday looking for a "suspicious person."

Penrose Main, where some of the victims from the Planned Parenthood shooting were treated, was on lockdown earlier Monday. Now Memorial Hospital is too, according to KKTV.

KKTV also reported that patients received phone calls canceling their appointments and that those inside were to lock doors and stay put.
