College Basketball's Greatest Villain Has Been Eliminated From The NCAA Tournament
APLaSalle upset Ole Miss and advanced to the Sweet 16 tonight 76-74, eliminating notorious bad boy Marshall Henderson in the process.
Henderson had another below-average game, shooting just 8 for 21 and 4 for 15 from three-pointer range. With 30 seconds left he had the chance put Ole Miss ahead, but his shot was blocked and LaSalle took over on a shot-clock violation.
So the sport's most wonderful villain is officially out of the tournament.
Even though he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way with his taunting, trash-talking, and general cockiness, he was by far the most entertaining thing about the first weekend of the tournament.
In just three short days he:
- Upset Wisconsin
- Shaved a widow's peak into his hair (picture below)
- Went out drinking after upsetting Wisconsin
- Got in a Twitter fight with a fake Twitter account
- Flipped off the crowd after getting bounced
It's been fun, Marshall.
Now he's off to the Chili Fest in College Station, Texas (seriously):
March Madness will miss you.
