Chick-fil-A's new mobile app is off to a roaring start.
The app has been downloaded more than one million times since its launch on Wednesday, making it the most downloaded free app in the iTunes stores for the third straight day.
The app's popularity likely has a lot to do with its offer of free food.
The company is giving away free chicken sandwiches to anyone who downloads the app, called Chick-fil-A One, between June 1 and June 11.
As of Friday, the company had already redeemed 131,000 free sandwich offers.
But free food isn't the only perk Chick-fil-A One offers. It also allows customers to skip long lines at the register.
Chick-fil-A, which generates more sales per restaurant than any other fast-food chain in the US, is typically slammed with customers during regular meal times, making long lines inevitable.
Chick-fil-A One lets customers order and pay for their food in advance, then pick it up at a counter designated for online orders.

"Just did it in a store ... it took 12 seconds to get my order," one customer wrote on the company's Facebook page.
Another customer wrote, "I just used the Chick-fil-A One app today and it was AMAZING! Easily the cleanest and most user friendly app I have used thus far."
However, dozens of customers have complained on social media that they couldn't find their free food offers after downloading Chick-fil-A one.
Chick-fil-A has been responding to those customers individually by instructing them how to find their free food.
