Carlos Correa proposed during a live TV interview after the Astros' win.

  • The Houston Astros beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games to win the 2017 World Series.
  • Just minutes after the game went final, Astros shortstop proposed to his girlfriend, Miss Texas USA Daniella Rodriguez.
  • She said yes.

The Houston Astros are World Series champions, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games to take home their first title in franchise history.

While there were many exciting moments on the field, for Astros shortstop Carlos Correa, the most nerve-racking moment of the night didn't come until after the game concluded.

Just minutes after the final out was secured, Astros players were being interviewed on the field giving their thoughts and feelings on being World Series champions. When the camera got to Carlos Correa, he was asked what it felt like to get the win.

"It's one of the biggest accomplishments in my life," Correa said. "And right now I'm about to take another big step in my life."

He got down on one knee, and popped the question to his girlfriend, Daniella Rodriguez, who was standing nearby with a crowd of spectators.

She happily said yes.

You can watch the moment below.

It looks like Correa will be getting not one, but two rings next year.
