The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has decided to hold the pending 623 Personality Tests between July 20 and 30. To make it easier for the candidates, the UPSC has decided to reimburse the lowest airfare for those who have to fly-in to the nearest examination centre because the trains aren't operating.

Not just that, it will take care of their lodging too. These are one-time measures. The UPSC has also asked state governments to allow the candidates with e-Summon Letters for personality tests to move in/out of the restricted zones.

"The Commission is committed to ensure the highest standards of health safety even as it fulfills its Constitutional mandate for selecting the most suitable candidates through its examinations," UPSC said in a statement on July 20.
