Wipro is inviting engineering graduates for its freshers’ hiring programme across the country

  • Wipro is scouting for engineering graduates for its ‘Elite National Talent Hunt 2022’ — a programme for freshers across the country.
  • The registration process has already begun and the last date to apply for the opportunity is September 15, 2021.
  • The online assessment will be conducted on two tentative dates — September 25 and September 27.

Indian information technology (IT) behemoth Wipro is scouting for engineering graduates for its ‘Elite National Talent Hunt 2022’ — a programme for freshers across the country.

The registration process has already begun and the last date to apply for the opportunity is September 15, 2021.

The selection procedure consists of two steps — online assessment and business discussion. Selected candidates will be given letters of intent and then an offer letter.

The online assessment will be conducted on two tentative dates — September 25 and September 27. The assessment consists of three sections —

  • Aptitude Test — Logical ability, quantitative ability, english (verbal) ability
  • Written communication test — essay writing
  • Online programming test — Candidates can choose any two programming languages out of Java, C, C++ or Python.
The candidates will be informed of the results of the recruitment via email or by any other means of communication.

Educational qualifications required for participating in the programme —



  1. All the candidates should be pursuing Bachelor’s of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelor's in Technology (B.Tech) or Master’s in Engineering (M.E) or Master’s in Technology from any central government recognised university and the year of passing should be 2022.
  2. Candidates from Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Agriculture and Food technology are not eligible to apply for the programme.
  3. An aggregate score of 60% or 6.0 cumulative grade point average (CGPA) or equivalent as per the university is necessary.
  4. Candidates who are pursuing their bachelor’s or master's degree from correspondence or distance learning are not eligible to apply.
  5. The candidates should have scored at least 60% in class 10 and 12.

Other general eligibility criteria for the programme —



  1. The candidates should be an Indian citizen or should hold a Person of Indian Origin (POI) card or Overseas Citizenship Card (OCI) card.
  2. Candidates from Bhutan or Nepal need to submit their respective citizenship certificate.
  3. Only one backlog is allowed during the time of online assessment.
  4. The offer will be valid only if the candidate clears all the backlogs.
  5. Only three years of gap is allowed between class 10 and graduation.
  6. Candidates who appeared for any selection process held in the last six months are not eligible for the programme.
