  • While speaking to Business Insider, Bartholomew mentioned his plans to open another office in India, but refused to reveal further details.
SupplyCompass, which is a UK-based fashion technology company, is planning to onboard 5,000 fashion brands and their supply chains in India. The company is also looking forward to increasing their workforce by 200 people in the next 12-18 months to fuel their growth plans in India.

“With the growth plans drawn up for India, SupplyCompass aims to make India a strategic hub for its operations to expand its presence further in South East Asian economies,” said Gus Bartholomew, co-founder and chief executive of SupplyCompass.

While speaking to Business Insider, Bartholomew mentioned his plans to open another office in India, but refused to reveal further details. He said, “We are very likely to open another office in India soon... but can’t tell more than this because it is still under planning.”

He added that, “We are also very likely soon to raise another round of funding, as we have big growth plans and we need significant capital.” Bartholomew didn’t reveal the amount of funding as well as the likely investors.

Started in 2016, the company helps fashion brands collaborate with their manufacturers and drive sustainable practices for bringing collections to the markets faster without compromising the quality of the end product.

The fashtech company, which has its offices in London, UK and Hyderabad, India, has so far raised £2.5 million till date in funding from venture capital firms. It claims to be working with globally known brands such as Nico, Rixo, Knickey and many more.

These are a few roles, which are currently available at their Hyderabad office —

1.Backend software engineer
Eligibility criteria — At Least 1-2 years of experience in writing modern, testable Python code with a team of developers with experience in web frameworks such as Django (Django Rest Framework) or Flask or FastAPI.

Salary expectations — Candidates can expect a salary between ₹6,00,000 - ₹9,00,000 per annum.

2. Quality assurance — Manual and automated
Eligibility criteria — More than 1 year of experience in software quality assurance. Experience in a fast-paced agile team environment with experience in setting and implementing test regimes.

Salary expectations — Candidates can expect a salary between ₹5,00,000 - ₹8,00,000 per annum.

3. ReactJS Developer

Eligibility criteria — 1 plus years of experience developing with javascript/reactJS/angularJS.

Salary expectations — Candidates can expect a salary between ₹6,00,000 - ₹9,00,000 per annum.
