These are the best employers in the world for 2022, two Indian firms in top 10

One of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world tops the list in this year’s Top Employers Institute's Global Top Employers’ ranking. The German company operates globally with 146 affiliates and more than 47,700 employees.

British American Tobacco

Established in 1902, it is one of the largest cigarette and tobacco manufacturing companies in the world in terms of sales. The London-based company operates in 180 countries and some of its popular brands are Dunhill, Kent, Lucky Strike and many more.

DHL Express

The American international logistics company, which provides courier, package delivery and express mail services, delivers 1.6 billion parcels each year, reportedly. The Germany-based company currently employs more than 4,00,000 globally.

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight

A division of Deutsche Post DHL, carries goods by rail, road, air and sea under the Forwarding division. The company employs over 550,000 people worldwide.

Infosys

The second largest Indian information technology company, by revenue, was the fourth company in India to cross $100 billion market capitalisation. Founded by seven engineers in Pune, the company employs over 2,90,000 people.

Japan Tobacco International (JTI)

The international tobacco division of Japan Tobacco, the company sells its products in 120 countries in the world. According to a latest report, JTI operates through 400 offices, 27 factories, five research and development centres, and five tobacco processing facilities.

The Swiss-American multinational cigarette and tobacco manufacturing company, has one of the most recognised and best selling products – Marlboro.The company was ranked at 101 in the 2021 Fortune 500 list of the largest corporations by total revenue.
