The global technology giant Atlassian is ramping up its hiring across the world and India. Atlassian, the company behind products like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Trello, is looking to hire 300 engineers in the country in 2021. Globally, the company is looking to hire over 1000 engineers.
The Australian software company is hiring for research and development (R&D) engineers along with a range of front-end and back-end engineers.
“We have invested significantly in talent acquisition in India but the ongoing pandemic which has fuelled a sharp rise in team collaboration and productivity software, has added the need to bring in even more talent. Globally, we’ve welcomed just short of 500 new Atlassians in the last quarter, mostly in R&D roles,” said Dinesh Ajmera, site lead and head of engineering, in Bengaluru for Atlassian, in a statement.
Atlassian, in its R&D and customer support centre in the Bengaluru office, already houses 700 engineers. The company is also offering all employees an allowance of $500 for a smooth work from home environment.
