As India embraces digitization, jobs in emerging technologies and cloud-based services are also growing.

A recent study titled ‘Jobs of tomorrow’ from the World Economic Forum reveals that 12% of the job opportunities over the next three years will be in the engineering and cloud computing domain.

“The jobs of the future are set to grow by 51% in the horizon up to 2020 and we project they will present 6.1 million job opportunities globally. These reflect the adoption of new technologies — roles at the forefront of the Data and AI economy as well as new roles in engineering, cloud computing, and product development,” said the report.

The report echoes the data by LinkedIn that says that DevOps Engineers, Artificial intelligence and blockchain are the top emerging job areas. It also said that India is amongst the top three countries to lead the world in AI skills with robotic process automation, compliance, and integration as the fastest growing skills.

He will also be responsible for collaborating with other cloud solution architects in developing complex end-to-end enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
