These are the vacancies —
Engineering Assistant Trainees (EAT) will undergo training for an initial period of six months during which they will be paid a stipend of ₹10,000 per month. On successful completion of the training and on passing the gradation test they will be entitled to a regular pay scale which will range between ₹24,500 and ₹90,000 per month.
Candidates selected for the Technician ‘C’ post can expect their salary between ₹21,500 to ₹82,000.
Eligibility criteria for both the roles —
- Candidates must be Indian citizens and the maximum age can be 28 years.
- For EAT — Candidates should have completed a 3-year diploma in engineering from a recognised Institution.
- For Technician ‘C’ — Candidates should have completed Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) with either a one-year apprenticeship or must have done a 3 years National Apprenticeship certificate course.
The eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test for 150 marks which will consist of — General aptitude (50 marks) and technical aptitude (100 marks).
Candidates belonging to general/other backward classes (OBC)/ economically weaker section (EWS) are required to pay an application fee of ₹250 plus 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) through online mode.
