Insider Inc. is looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Senior Javascript Engineer to round out our Story Engagement engineering team.

As a Senior Javascript Engineer, you'll work with a team of talented and enthusiastic web engineers to build seamless, beautiful and performant user experiences that will delight and inspire our readers!

If you're fluent in Javascript, Node JS and the web, and love building amazing user experiences in a welcoming and collaborative environment then this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.


Here's who YOU are:

• You have been working with web technologies for 3-5 years

• You have experience writing clean, maintainable, production-grade JavaScript

• You're familiar with Node JS and writing server-side Javascript

• You are a strong problem solver who is always looking for solutions

• You value testing your code and can implement unit and functional tests

• You are intimately familiar with Chrome/Firefox/Safari dev tools

• You have applied experience and understanding with common software design patterns.

• You are interested in every aspect of the stack from top to bottom

• You have experience with UX design

• You've worked with serverless technologies like Lambda/Cloud Functions
