A 21-year-old B-Tech student of IIT Indore bagged a job with Google at an annual salary package of Rs. 1.7 crore during campus placements. Gaurav Agarwal said he had taken an online test at IIT-I for getting employed with Google. After passing the test, he was called at the company’s office in Gurgaon for an interview which he cleared.

A 21-year old computer science student, Ashutosh Agarwal who belongs to IIT-Patna was offered Rs 1.8 cr salary package by the tech giant. It was the highest package ever offered here. He was in his 7th semester when the offer was made and he was selected after completing three months internship at Google New York. Ashutosh was given the offer after rigorous steps of interviews and telephonic rounds. He will work for Google office at North American states.

Four students of computer science department of IIT-Kanpur managed to bag a whopping Rs 1.5 crores per annum as the salary package in 2015. The offer was given by tech giant Oracle. This hefty salary included perks and allowances. The hefty package offered included 1.5-1.75 lakh US dollar as take away salary plus Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP means company's share) and bonus. Similarly 5 students from IIT Bombay had received an offer from Facebook for a Rs. 1.42 crore pay package back in 2014.
