The Juneja family, promoters of Mankind Pharma, have gained immensely from the stellar listing of the stock and its subsequent performance in the year gone by.

Mankind Pharma is responsible for the growing fortunes of two sets of promoters – Ramesh Juneja and family as well as Rajeev Juneja and family. Both the promoters have made it to the Hurun India Rich List 2023.

The fortunes of both these promoters – swelled by 107 percent in the last one year. Ramesh Juneja who was formerly a pharma salesman founded the company with his brother Rajeev in early 90s.

Ramesh Juneja’s networth is at ₹22,200 crore and he is India’s 87th richest man. He is the chairman and whole time director of the company.

Rajeev Juneja is the 94th richest man with a networth of ₹21,500 crore. He is the vice chairman and managing director of the company.

Both the Juneja brothers were born on the same – July 28 — but ten years apart.

The Delhi based company is one of India’s top pharma companies. They also have many over the counter products like Manforce condoms, PregaNews testing kids, GasOFast antacid.

The company debuted on the stock markets in May this year with over 20 percent listing gains. The stock has since given 28 percent returns – rewarding its investors and promoters alike.

The company is now worth ₹70,854 crore. Within weeks of its listing, the company also entered the large cap companies’ index — thereby entering big leagues.
