​10 companies likely to hit trillion-dollar status this decade

​Trillion-dollar companies

Only seven companies in the world have achieved a market capitalization or valuation of over a trillion US dollars in history, namely Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Saudi Aramco, and Meta (Facebook). As per the recent report from the Informa Connect Academy, the ten following companies are most likely to become the next trillion-dollar businesses.

​TSMC

TSMC is a Taiwan-based semiconductor manufacturing company that has a market capitalisation of $893.71B and an annual growth rate of 32.14%. It is the third largest manufacturer of semiconductors after Intel and Samsung and is set to hit the trillion-dollar mark by 2025.

​Berkshire Hathaway

Led by Warren Buffet, Berkshire Hathaway is a group of companies with more than 80 subsidiaries. It has a market capitalisation of $874.76 B with an annual growth rate of 10% and is expected to reach the trillion dollar mark by 2025.

​Eli Lilly

Eli Lilly is an American pharmaceutical company that deals in a wide range of medicines that include medicines for diabetes, cancer, neuro, immunology, bone, joint and obesity. With a market capitalisation of $823.3 B and a 46.29% growth rate, it is expected to become a 1 trillion dollar company by 2025.

​Broadcom

With a market capitalisation of $763.77 B and an average annual growth rate of 48.79%, Broadcom is expected to cross the $1 trillion mark by 2025. It is a California-based technology company that deals in a range of semiconductor and infrastructure software applications.

Based in the United States, Tesla is a solar energy, electric automobile and integrated renewable energy solutions company. It has a market capitalisation of $669.28 B and with an average annual growth rate of 173.32%, it is expected to hit $1 T in 2025.

Novo Nordisk is a Denmark-based multinational pharmaceutical company which has a presence in more than 170 countries around the world. It has a market capitalisation of $649.66 B and with an annual growth rate of 36.98%, it is expected to join the trillion-dollar club by 2026.

Exxon Mobil is an American multinational company that deals in integrated fuels, lubricants and petrochemicals. It has a market capitalisation of $515.70 B and an annual growth rate of 19.99%. It is expected to hit the $1 trillion mark by 2028.

ASML Holding N.V. is a Dutch company specialising in semiconductor production. It has a market capitalisation of $407.8 billion and is growing at 32.77% annually. It is expected to hit $1 trillion in value by 2028.

Based in California, AMD designs and develops computer processors and related technologies for business and consumer markets. It has a market capitalisation of $254.87 B and with an average annual growth rate of 51.67%, it is expected to reach $1 trillion by 2028.
