A Vodafone (Vi) executive will visit you on the address given to deliver the new Vodafone (Vi) SIM card. From your mobile, you need to send an SMS message to 1900 typing in ‘PORT” followed by the 10-digit mobile number. You need to give the porting code received to the Vi executive.

You will be asked to produce your address and identity proof. The executive will use all this information to complete the porting process. It will take around 48 hours to a few days for the new Airtel SIM to get activated. Once the new SIM is activated, you can start using your existing mobile number on the Vi network.
