There are two simple ways to check your internet (data) balance on your Vodafone Idea plan. One is a quick run through the USSD codes provided to check the internet balance and another one is to install the VI app on your smartphone and check the balance in simple three steps.

If you are a Vodafone Idea customer, the easiest way to check your internet balance is to just dial the *121# USSD code and *456# for the account balance. This article will be more helpful for you to check the data balance in more ways through USSD codes and through the app.

Checking the prepaid balance and internet balance through USSD

The USSD code helps people to check their internet balance and also the basic prepaid balance in a very easy way. The code always starts with a * and ends with a #.

  • To know the basic prepaid balance, dial *199*2*1# from your registered Vodafone Idea number. This code gives all the information about your number and validity.
  • You can also dial *121# to check the main balance
How to check internet balance and prepaid balance using the VI app

You can check your internet balance and prepaid balance using the Vi app, too. Here’s how to do it:

  • First, download the Vi app here if you use a smartphone.
  • Create a login ID with your Vodafone Idea mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP to register your account.
  • Now, click on the internet balance and validity option.
  • Click on the main balance option to know your prepaid balance.
You can also add multiple accounts in the app with different Vodafone Idea mobile numbers.

Finally, to know more information about your account and if you do not use a smartphone, the customer care is available and you can contact it through the number 199 for queries and enquiries.
