  • Ola cabs covered a total distance of 6 billion kms in 2019.
  • Ola outstation recorded 366 million kms across 10,000 destinations in India, enough for a trip to Jupiter.
Ola released its 2019 report which shows that it provided discounts worth ₹20.87 crore – enough for 5,000 vacations in Europe.

The total distance travelled in 2019 on Ola was 6 billion kms. Ola outstation recorded 366 million kms across 10,000 destinations - almost the distance between earth and Jupiter.

“Shared mobility has expanded beyond Tier I cities, making deeper inroads into the hinterlands of the country. While 4-wheelers remained a preferred mode of commute for longer routes, Ola Auto and Ola Bike are steadily becoming synonymous with first and last-mile connectivity in over 250 cities and towns across India," said an Ola spokesperson.

The report also mentioned that on average, people in Bengaluru left for work earlier than the rest of the country. Well, given the city’s traffic, no surprises there! Bengaluru was followed by Pune and Delhi, for people who left for work before 10 am.

Earlier this week, Uber too had released its year-end report which showed that Bengaluru took the most Uber pool rides, while Delhi NCR topped the list of most Uber rides taken in a city.
