According to a new report by Informa Connect Academy, the world could get its first trillionaire by 2027, in the form of Elon Musk. The report predicts, based on the annual growth rate in wealth, that Elon Musk could become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027 if his wealth keeps growing at an average rate of 110% each year.

After Musk, India’s Gautam Adani, the founder of the Adani Group, could be the second person to reach trillionaire status. If Adani continues to grow his wealth by 123% each year, the report says he could become a trillionaire by as early as 2028.
