Tesla has lost a manufacturing director who helped lead production of the Model 3 sedan, CNBC's Lora Kolodny reported on Tuesday, citing two of his former coworkers.
Jatinder Dhillon joined Tesla in 2013, according to his LinkedIn profile. He helped start Tesla's seat factory, which is located near its main assembly plant in Fremont, California, and oversaw a rapid increase in Model 3 production, according to CNBC's report.
Tesla and Dhillon did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.
