Spot gold markets remain shut due to countrywide lockdown: HDFC Securities

New Delhi, May 4 () Spot gold markets remained shut on Monday due to the countrywide lockdown to prevent spread of coronavirus pandemic, while the precious metal traded higher in international market, according to HDFC Securities.
In the international market, gold was trading higher at USD 1,705 per ounce, while silver quoted at USD 14.94 per ounce, it said.
