Refined soya oil futures rise on fresh bets

New Delhi, Mar 19 () Refined soya oil prices on Thursday rose 5.8 per cent to Rs 768 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators raised their bets.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for March delivery moved up by Rs 5.8, or 0.76 per cent, to Rs 768 per 10 kg in 17,040 lots.

Similarly, refined soya oil contracts for April delivery edged up by Rs 9.8, or 1.36 per cent, to Rs 728 per 10 kg in 41,835 lots.

Analysts said widening of positions by traders mainly helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher in futures market. VHP SHWSHW
