Refined soya oil futures rise on fresh bets

New Delhi, Mar 3 () Refined soya oil prices on Tuesday gained 0.82 per cent to Rs 764 per 10 kg in futures trade after speculators widened their holdings in line with positive spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for March delivery moved up by Rs 6.2, or 0.82 per cent, to Rs 764 per 10 kg in 32,340 lots.

Similarly, refined soya oil for April delivery edged up by Rs 5, or 0.67 per cent, to Rs 755.6 per 10 kg in 28,595 lots.

Analysts said widening of positions by traders mainly helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher in futures market here. VHP SHWSHW
